For me it was rooting through the tall grass like a wild pig, searching for the tiny spearment plants hiding under the duff, ripping away all that nasty grass, digging up the spearment, dragging the old clawfoot bathtub out of the dump, filling it with dirt, sticking the spearment in its new home and dousing the whole shebang with water. Cool...plus!

ok.... 4 yards of dirt, some manure, peat moss, old newspaper, a weed whacker, wheelbarrow, spade, hoe, pitchfork, and a bunch of seed packets...

Onion sets, potatoes, corn (risky in this far north neck of the woods), garlic...all in the ground. Plus read a good book. Neat.
