Luella Buzz Building

Everywhere I go with Luella the duck, the buzz is good. All the bookstore managers are highly complimentary. All the readers are thrilled with Mindy's art and Luella's story. Even pug owners are taking notice of Pancake and her vital role in Luella's life. What fun!

If there is a pug lover in your life, Luella is a must-buy! The relationship between Pancake the Pug and Luella is absolutely charming. And with Pancake's only dialogue being "Snort," Melinda Braun got the pug just right! Even if you don't own a pug, or you think they are so ugly they are cute, you shouldn't miss out on Luella!

Luella is one of the sweetest books I've seen in a while. I bought one to donate to my children's school library, but after reading it, decided to keep it for myself. I have read it to many children who love it and want to hear it over and over.

Reading Luella is a wonderful way to wind down before bedtime with your kids. You'll appreciate the length, too. While it's long enough to have great content, it's not too long to read after a busy day. Your kids will have sweet dreams while imagining Pancake the pug helping Luella, an orphan duck, learn to survive. With Pancake's nurturing, you'll find out how Luella outgrows the nickname, "the dry-dock duck."

Anyone with young children will adore this great find!
